I used these to shore up an ailing exhaust connection on my vintage Japanese car which sports a 2.5″ exhaust. The clamps work well enough, and are okay for the price point.The u-bolt is quite thin – about 1/4 inch and the nuts are quite shallow so you have to be careful when you tighten them not to slip and round the ends.That said, they’re relatively inexpensive and do the job.

I used these clamps to string together 2 flex pipes coming off the y and my stainless steel electric cut out muffler, interim pipe and resonator. Just perfect without the long hanging threaded ends so it looks, and is, professional and clean.
