I tried this product on my catalytic I see white smoke coming out of my car which shows the product does its job, but you have to be careful using this product if you spray it and part of it leaks into the engine your car will not start that’s what happened to me and I had to call the mechanic to clean the spark plugs and some other parts so the engine works again this product might damage your engine if it leaks into it, so the best thing to do is park your car in leveled area spray in small quantities and let it go through the catalytic and spray again so the product will not raise and goes into the engine than u will be in a serious problem.

Saw on youtube and tried it, took 3 cans, only complaint is only one can had the cap and tube..This save me BIG BUCKS on new dpf or even gutting mine..quality produce!

So the product is good but when they send the cans without the hoses it renders the product useless. We weren’t giving up so my husband found this can of pb blaster and was able to take the top off it. I hope this helps someone else if it happens to them.

I am trying to troubleshoot a clogged catalytic converter on my BMW E90 and thought maybe this product would work. Bought multiple cans of it, followed instructions word for word. Even watched a few youtube videos of people that used it and just like the majority have said in their reviews…This product DOES NOT WORK. Waste of time and money. Complete garbage. I am a self taught mechanic with over 10 years of experience was definitely seeking a little shortcut with this product or at least buy myself some time to unclog my catalytic converter, but this product is NOT the answer. Take it from a well educated “pro”. This product is trash. Move on.

I’ve used this now on three separate vehicles of mine for the P0420 code. 2002 Toyota Camry, 2002 Toyota Solara, and 2005 Toyota Camry. The 2005 got the code over a year ago and I ran the cleaner through the catalytic converter and the code hasn’t returned. I bought the 2002 Solara a week ago with the code tripped. Ran this cleaner through the cat and cleared the code and passed my vehicle inspection. Highly recommend. Really easy to use, great value compared to tank cleaners that never work long term. The smell when the cleaner burns off through the O2 sensor hole can be a little harsh so just be careful about breathing in fumes.

I was getting a clogged DPF message on my 2014 VW Passat TDI. I pulled oxygen sensor out of the filter and spayed it in till overflowing. I let the foam dissipate and repeated those steps till can was empty, took the car for a “spirited” drive @ min 2500 rpm Did this 4 times (used four cans). A white smoke comes out of the exhaust , sign that the cleaning works.Hooked up my VCDS did a force regen then checked the pre filter pressure and it was well below what the factory says is safe. Very easy to use and saved at least $2600 to buy a new replacement DPF kit . DPF code disappear. It has been 6 months now.
