The japiroc seat cushion is very well made and I think uses attractive colored and hi-tech durable fabrics that should not pill up over time like a “bamboo” cushion I’ve used. It comes rolled up, but expands quickly into the intended shape. It is nice it includes a strap to put around the seatback to keep it in place.I originally got this for my car because the standard seat is a little short on cushioning for a drive spanning several hours. However I found that it is overkill for a standard car seat, boosting me too high and also requiring a bit of time to settle into it the right way. I can see how this would be great for a semi-rig though…So plan B is that now I’m using for my home office chair. As others have said, the memory foam makes for a very comfortable seat, but I do find myself re-adjusting my position between meetings to get the maximum benefit, I will try using the seatback strap to see if that keeps it in place.The price is not trivial, but given how much time you sit each day, I think it is a worthwhile investment.

I drive over the road for a living.Does not cover the entire truck seat.Slightly better than a factory Kenworth seat…slightly. Would not recommend for a truck driver.

This is a comfortable seat with support! Yes, it’s designed with drivers in mind, but it works for decent sized computer chairs too – especially if the seat’s cushion has gone flat or never was enough to start with.Stretching straps clip the cushion into place around the seat’s back, but are removable. The little grip dots on the bottom keep it from sliding around much, if any. And it’s not made of uncomfortable support foam, but real memory foam (firm) that give you the comfort you want, but the support you need for being in the seat for a prolonged time.Absolutely recommend.

I purchased this for my husband who has lower spine problems. He said it works very well to release the pressure off of his tailbone but it does bother his front area a little bit due to pressure sitting.
