Great price. But I’ve bought and installed this twice (2 different trucks). Both times, the inner tie rod ends are 5/8” too long. I told the seller about this over a year ago so it was disappointing to see that it hasn’t been fixed. Also, the lower ball joint boot is a joke. The design flaw in the boot makes it impossible to press it in without the adapter sleeve cutting the boot.If you’re working on a 10-15 yr old truck in the rust belt and can’t spend 3x this price, this is a good option. Otherwise, go better on inner TRE and lower ball joints. Also struts nearly leveled the front end. Rides good but sits high. Probably too high if you’re running leveling blocks.

I read many reviews and viewed YouTube videos so that I could get some expectation levels. Many people seemed happy and yet still seemed to view the components as ‘cheap’. I can only speak from my experience.I received all components in 2 days. I then spec’d the components side by side and measurements so that I wouldn’t get any surprises with the install. (removing ball joints and having bad parts is no joke…) I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the components.Several folks complained about destroying the rubber boot on the lower ball joints when installing them in the lower control bar, yet, I used a flat head screw driver and removed the boot, then installed the lower ball joints, and then re-installed the boot.I found that many of the complaints were unfounded when compared to my experience.For anyone who is interested, I used the factory specs for torque specs on all components except 1.I cant categorize the following as an issue, but it was kind of weird: for the sway bar end links, the part that connects at the top, the nut basically bottomed out. The bushings did slightly compress so i was fine with the installation. However, If the nut didn’t compress enough, I would have had to find a couple of washers to take up the slack so I could tighten a bit more. Again, this wasn’t a complain, but a slight concern; it may have been planned that way but I don’t know.Either way, I was happy enough with the purchase, I ordered new rotors and brake pads. In a couple of months, I plan to order the center hub/wheel bearings for my 4×4.

2005 f150 4wd xlt, list is an exact fit for my truck. I should have inspected to make sure all parts were there before starting the job. Lower ball joints were not in the package. Packing list on the inside of the box had a line drawn through the lower ball joints part number. Ran to the parts store and grabbed two so I could get finished. Monday took it to get alignment. Could not be aligned. Tie rods cranked all the way in and still needed more. Part numbers were correct but when compared to the old the inneres were about an inch longer. I couldn’t wait so i just got the job completed. Took it back and got the alignment. Emailed back and forth for 3 weeks. They wanted pictures of the packing list. Verify part numbers. I was told tie rods are correct. Finally a $20 refund and lower ball joints delivered. If u buy check all parts befor installing. Multiple reviews complain about the tie rods.

I just want to say this at first I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered a full front suspension for under $300 but it arrived in 2 packages a week apart (only dissappointing part) but I am very impressed and very shocked my truck rides like a dream againI wish I could give 10 stars on this product ..highly recommend this to anyone on a budget that respects quality parts. Detroit axel will have all my buisness from now on

I found this was a great deal. There was a small issue, that the steering control arm pieces did not line up for my vehicle. I figured out through trying to find the right ones that the inner rod was an alternate number according to mfg. That is correct but you have to use the alternate number for the tie rod ends. I don’t think Dorman knows this. I spent 2 hrs at an auto parts store to figure out the problem.The parts are the same quality parts you can get at your local store only a lot cheaper. If I had to do it all over again (which I will on another vehicle) I wouldn’t change a thing.Shipping was as fast as ground can go during Covid. Gets stuck at a terminal for a couple of days, but tracking was good, so I never worried about it. UPS beat the hell out of the box but everything is in great shape.Only thing I missed was although all of the rod ends and threaded ends have nuts and cotter keys, my manufacturer recommends to replace all bolts. Some of which are easy to find, while others are special order only from dealership or third party supplier.

I was worried that the upper arm controls were not gonna fit when I ordered this kit but they r a perfect match. Haven’t put it on our truck yet but everything looks good and products match description and seem to be good quality. I look forward to getting it put on and testing it out. Hoping all goes well from here. The only complaint I have is when I ordered it there was a hold on the funds of the purchase plus the purchase cost for a few days but think that was an Amazon thing and they took the hold off however it sent my account into the negative for a couple of days and I was unable to use the money u til the hold was taken off so just be aware of that if u see it. Again I think that it was an Amazon thing and not this company’s doing though. I will definitely buy from them again regardless
