I wanted to replace the trim on my Lexus but replacement trim from the dealership was way overpriced. I happened to look here on Amazon and wouldn’t you know… I found them. I ordered these for both driver and passenger sides. They were easy to install and look great. And, the price is also very reasonable.

Perfect fit. Adhesion graded as 5-star, but this review is only a month after putting the part on. Only years will tell – but I will say this, best not to use only the adhesive tape on the part. I added silicone adhesive to the three plastic points that fit in the holes on the window frame, and on any areas where there is no tape. Value for money is disgraceful. After tax, just about $100 for a piece of plastic…. But, if you need this part, you are over a barrel – your only other option is buying the whole window from Lexus or some other source which is around 3 times more expensive.

This Part Worked Perfectly. For My 2007 RX 350. The Part Detail Is So Precise, The Instruction Sheet and You Tube Video Where Right On. The OEM Part From Lexus Would Have Cost Me Including Installation At Body Shop $400 Which Included the The Glass (Correctly Tinted By Factory Code Based On Vehicle VIN) & Rubber Molding Which Was Not Necessary. Just For The Rear Quarter Window Glass Trim?…. A Savings For Me of $300. Thanks Guys….

First of all, many say it doesn’t fit – It Does – but only if you install it correctly.It does not install just by slapping it onto the side of your car, If the pegs don’t line up, then it means you are installing it wrong. There is plenty of good YouTube videos on how to do it properly.The adhesive is extremely strong from what I can tell (so far) – but you have to make sure to use a razor to scrap off the old adhesive from the car and some cleaner that doesn’t leave a residue to wipe down the part of the car before applying.

Oh old Rx fans such a great small SUV, will last decades I think. These replacement trims are much less than OE. This Lexus trim part as well as the faulty dash material were the number one flaws of the earlier Rx line. This was a replacement for my 2007 RX400H. The finish is spot on, the fit is okay and acceptable and maybe would have been better if I did a more meticulous job mounting it. And that is my only advice. Follow the instructions and watch a YouTube video. The double-sided tape if you don’t get it right the piece will lift at the curve or front of the trim. However, it looks OE, matches, and is considerably cheaper than OEM. I bought a second one after confirming the first one was worth it. It was.

I’m using a C clamp trying to get one end to glue in place. It doesn’t fit!!!! I wish I had believed the other one star reviews. I will probably go to a Lexus dealer and get one that fits there. Please! Save your money.

I am so glad to have found this after market trim replacement. I see so many Lexus SUV’s missing this part that is likely do to adhesion failure after years of exposure to the elements. I looked into dealer prices for replacement and they do NOT sell this individually and thus it is quite costly…still I find this rather over priced for what it is, but it does update and upgrade the appearance of my car and I am grateful it is available. Installation can be tricky because of shrinkage, so make sure to follow the instructions and watch the video. The results will be GREAT!
