Needs rubber spacers included for between it and the frame or it will make noise. Really rough finish. Burs on all the edges. Serves its purpose but hasn’t taken a big hit yet on any logs, it has worked on large rocks from the front tire and larger tree limbs

Fits XR650L well. Welds look good but machining is rough-lots of sharp edges. A little sanding needed to smooth out edges.

Absolutely atrocious quality. Sharp edges. Very bad welds. Discolorations. The bolts included for the front side were too short and I had to go to the hardware store to get the correct length bolts. See attached pictures. Do not recommend.

After a long delay, it was finally delivered. Only to disappoint. Bad, uneven, cold joint welds, welds are 3 different colors of oxidation. Cuts are rough, full of burrs, un-even. I will not put this junk on my bike. And now, I try to return, and they want $9.00 for shipping.

Overall, this product fit nicely and should serve my purposes just fine. I only give three stars because one of the mounting brackets that came with it was not welded in a way that lined up and was forcing a screw to cross thread. I drilled out the part that was causing a problem, and was able to get the screw to thread correctly. The welds are not the highest quality, and you can see open seams in certain locations.Again, if you want to save money, this is a good product, just go into it with your eyes open and take your time with installation.There are certainly nicer skid plates out there, but this one is a good deal. And it’ll work just fine.

Installed in a 1993, 2008 and 2014 Xr650l, rough on the edges but price is right so no problems with the sharp edges, just grab a fine file and smooth it.

I don’t do much off road, but even on the street it protects from gravel. A little bit of wiggle to install, but totally worth it.
