This review is for Generator Exhaust Extension Silencer kit with Insulated Through-Wall Mounting Plate,Generator Muffler Silencer Kit Compatible With Firman H07552 Wh03242 T07571/3 Honda Eu6500/7000 Brand: BSTGEKELYSo, my generator (champion 7500w) wasn’t listed on this but these things seem to be pretty generic so I went for it. Well, there are differences to know about. Check your generator exhaust before buying a kit. If you have a spark screen with 3 screws, maybe 2″ exhaust hole, you are going to need an additional mount. It is available separately but also available as part of other kits. This kit works with a 2 hole and smaller exhaust outlet generator.Otherwise, fantastic value! It has everything you need to mount your generator inside. We have a solar shed and we mounted this exhaust kit in the wall so we could put the generator inside vs. outside for rainy or snowy days. Price/value wise this is a great kit.

I am building a small enclosure to place my generator in to kill off some of the noise. I really got the kit to help run a line out of the enclosure, but them noticed it had a small muffler/silencer. I liked that it came with everything needed to connect to the generator and the wall. Everything fit as needed but I noticed that the wall plate started to get hot scotching the wall a little. I added a silicone pad between the plate and wall to help keep the heat at bay. The material is solid and heavy, which means it should last for a long time. Just so you know I added fans to the two side (one set in, one set out) to help keep the enclosure cool.But overall this little kits worked well for what I needed. I would highly recommend to anyone building their own enclosure.
