Ordered black and I was sent a red one. Also was missing bolts, harness bracket, and round gasket. Oddly it also doesn’t come with a gasket to connect to the manifold, which is strange.

The brackets broke the minute I took it out….the can is great but I would not recommend until they come up with a better mounting system

Got this for my Tao Tao 50 scooter as both a performance and visual upgrade. First the Good Stuff. The head pipe and muffler are well made and solid. Both installed right up and look great. The muffler is a straight thru design and this thing sounds pretty good too neither to loud or too soft at least for my liking. All the holes line up and all hardware is included. Now the Not so Good Stuff.The mounting bracket is almost useless. Who ever took the measurements did a bad job as it is not even close. It took my 3 hours to fabricate, modify and bend this thing to get it to fit but when I finished it is solid. So if you are looking for a bolt up and done forget it. However if you are good at the workbench and have some time you can get it to fit. Overall, looks and sounds great but will need some modification. P.S. doesn’t come with a gasket for the head pipe so you may want to order one separately.

It’s a great muffler. But the fit isn’t for a taotao. It’s not worth the money. It rides well, and is an incredible exhaust. It is easy to put together, and it worked as it needed to. It’s beautiful when installed. It just unfortunately doesn’t have any functionality when it’s not made for this engine.

For the money it’s ok, like 9 out of 10 people say you are going to have to make adjustments to make it fit snug but the bracket can’t fit every scooter. Just a little imagination is needed. My carb I’m running 83 main jet and 28 pilot. I did notice a small amount of pickup in the low end. It is loud. If you like loud you’ll like this. I plan to install a bbk not sure if 80 (72 cc) or the 100 cc. I found my MPG went from 105-114 with stock down to 89- 94 mpg. I ran it about a month was going to reject to 85 main but never did. I put a 33 pilot and noticed better 0 to 25 in about 12 seconds about 250 yards. Color fades easy. I went back to my stock I think this kit might help more on a bbk be it 80 cc or 100 cc and up the jets. Took about 2 hours getting and putting the puzzle pieces together to make the bracket fit. I am very pleaser with this product. The kit came complete with everything so it made installation a breeze. I’m running a 80cc bore with a 24mm carb. Replacing the stock exhaust with this one made all the difference in power increase. The sound is really sporting. Very happy
