Great little battery for my Generator and heck of a good price. But, looking on line to pick a battery, I had to look deep to find where pos. and neg. Terminals were. A simple plus or minus symbol on either post areas would have helped a lot!!!

I left my tractor key on all winter. Needless to say, my battery was toast come spring. I ordered a new one from Cub Cadet on July 13 for $100 They were back ordered so I bought this one for $40. It has great reviews and some say it’s even better than the original. It worked fine on the first start although it did turn over slower than the original battery. I stopped the tractor and tried to restart, no-go. I charged it a short time with my battery tender and tried again. It worked. Had to do this all summer until the Cub Cadet one showed up on Sept 21st. The Cub Cadet one showed up fully charged and measured over 13 volts. This one from Amazon measures 12 something at best. Anyway, with my new battery from Cub Cadet, my tractor started like new and turned over very quickly and still measures 13 plus volts. This battery from Amazon served its purpose and got me through the summer for a very reasonable price. I am not complaining but there is nothing like the original.

Batteries don’t seem to last more than a year nowadays. But this was less expensive than ome battery for cub cadet. Fit right in box and fired right up.

At first I thought this wouldn’t work because the terminals were switched, but then I realized that the battery is designed to be able to lay on its side too, so it fit just fine when I rotated across 2 axis’s. I got this because my other battery was having trouble cranking over the engine when the battery was about 32 Fahrenheit in a cold cement covered parking garage after a day in the office. This has sufficient cold crank amps (CCA) to do the job. It’s ever so slightly (1/8 inch) narrower than the stock battery so it slipped into the battery compartment with ease.
