Our Prius has 211,000 miles and I try to change the transmission fluid once every 100,000 miles. It’s actually not difficult with the right tools.I’ve only used OEM fluid, per Toyota’s recommendation and considering the cost of a new Prius transmission, this is a very small price to pay.I would highly recommend this product and have no doubt you’ll be very pleased the performance and longevity it brings to your Toyota product.

Note this fluid is made by Exxon for Toyota and Toyota simply puts there logos and etc on the bottles. My Highlander had 80K of miles and dealer informed to changed out the fluids of the transmission fluid and coolant. However the dealer was charging too much for an easy job. So I bought the fluid and did it myself. Note after watching a lot of videos do not remove the filter and pan. Simply drain the fluid and refill it. If you opt to remove the filter you can ended up with transmission issues (I wouldn’t recommend this) unless you are letting the dealer do the job so if issues they are liable to fix the transmission.No issues or slips after replacing the fluid with no leaks!!

The shipping took longer but is worth the wait. The oil is good quality and I recommend to change it every 60k miles.

The dealer wouldn’t sell me the classic transmission oil because they have switched the manufacturer of the transmission oil… This is the good stuff, even the box has the toyota OEM branding + part numbers on it.
