This worked perfectly in my 91 d21 door lock.

These work great! Be careful removing the plastic clips on the door lock shafts. The old one on my passenger side was frozen solid on the shaft. I had to split it to get it off, before releasing the rod from the plastic holder. Clean the rods with sandpaper and lightly lubricate so everything moves easy before reassembling.
