First thing UPS strikes again, box was beat up enough I inspected before driver left and found mark on upper hood but I accepted it, didn’t have center in the lower like some of the others do but I was able to cut section out of old hood and plastic weld it back in, since it can’t be seen when hood is closed I’m not going to worry too much about finish. Be sure to save all fasteners for reuse. Not giving five stars because of not having center section

I was looking to replace my damaged and brittle OEM hood. It came well packaged. Install was easy and reused the screws from the OEM hood. If you don’t have those screws or the OEM hood, you’ll need to purchase separate. The color is a perfect or at least very close match. My tractor looks new again with this hood!

I have a 23 year old John Deere LX279. The hood cracked and broke into many pieces. The OEM hood was very expensive to order. Found this product as a direct replacement. I was very pleased with the fit, finish and color match. It’s built as heavy as the OEM. Highly recommend
