stuff is self leveling which means you can brush it on. I brushed a little on the valve cover of a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 390 2 barrel and let it dry and it is an exact match to the valve cover with just a hair more shine – of course the valve cover is over 50 years old so maybe it was the same shine when new? who knows.Paints easy, dries to the touch after a few hours, cures in a week supposedly.Will be installing the newly painted water pump shortly and will update later if there are any problems with the paint. So far its a winner.

My Ford F100 Engine was very rusty looking, and dirty. I cleaned it as best as I could, and applied the Ford Corporate Blue (medium blue color) motor coater on. I was very impressed with the way the brush coated the surface. Paint is very flexible and easy to apply. The Engine color looks amazing.Highly recommend this product. Will use again in the future. Great for Ford engines.

I used it on my 390 ford engine,I bought the blue.l got one pint,and painted the whole engine,and still have over a half left of paint. Good stuff.

This paint is great. It’s very creamy and spreads well. I applied it to my engine with a brush after wire brushing, scrubbing with degreaser, rust neutralizing, and rinsing. One coat looks great, the color is brilliant.

Not cheap paint, but hopefully worth it. Very smooth, shiny ‘ceramic’ look, and seems to be tough. I didn’t read the instructions fully, and had gone ahead and used a hi-temp primer first…they say not to prime! So I gave it plenty of time to dry fully. Thick paint, and I didn’t thin it, so tougher to get good, smooth coverage with my HVLP gun. But a second coat looked awesome! One complaint could be that I’d also bought one of the cans of aerosol paint, which was supposed to be the same colour, but it was actually a darker blue (not huge, but noticeable).

A little goes a long way, using a brush. The paint bonded extremely well to the block and heads and lays extremely smooth. In my opinion, this looks much better than a spray can application.
