This is an extension connector used to charge an electric car. It allows 20 extra feet in addition to the charger cable which comes attached to the charger you have purchased separately. We have a long driveway with a carport, and the charger is attached to a wall on our front porch, so this extension allows me to park the car under the carport and out of the weather while the car is charging. The cable is thick and well made, and unlike the more expensive brand, this one comes with a rubber cap which can be attached to the end when not in use. Easy to use!

I was skeptical when I bought this because rather price is much more competitive than other options, but I figured I can always return it if here was a problem. So far my only surprise was how much thinner the cable is than The cable from my solaredge inverter unit. The overall cable diameter is significantly thinner but is still gaged appropriately per the spec. Also I was surprised at how secure the EV connectors were. The connectors have really great tolerance.Anyway, we took a risk and it’s working great.

I had some problems getting it on because it was too tight from day 1. That problem kept getting worse. Finally it stopped working. I wouldn’t recommend getting this. The regular charger that came with the car just snaps right on.

Time will tell, but so far we are very happy with our EVSE extension cord. It works perfectly with out Nissan Leaf as well as our Tesla Model Y (with adapter, of course). The materials look sturdy and the value for the price is superb. Recommended.

I bought this to hook up my original Juice EV charger to extend to outside my garage. This allowed me to charge my EV in the garage, connect it to charge my EV outside the garage without moving the original charger or cars!The handle is great, the cable itself is thinner than my original charger, but the fact that I no longer need to drag my original cable back and forth for 2 vehicles is fantastic! It works exactly like I expected. I looked at all the different cables and agonized over which to get, so thought it was worth reviewing.

A titre informatif,Il cable va très bien durant le printemps, été, automne mais cette hiver durant les temps froid j ai du le mettre dans le garage parce qu il ne voulait plus recharger.Aussitôt que je le mettais un +/- 2h dans le garage. Tout fonctionnait !!!
