Would leave 5 stars but it didn’t come with any manual or any information for installing. Hope that my pictures and information below help out future people trying to install this kit on there Honda Engines. Green wire needs attached to Bare metal (Ground on the engine) White wire connects to Brown wire (Charging coil) Red wire connects to (Starter Solenoid) Black wire connects to (Starter Solenoid) and the last two small black wires connect to (Black Wire coming off Ignition coil, and Yellow wire coming from Oil sensor) Note that you will also need a set of Battery cables for this install. And in my case I had to change the ignition coil out for a different one. Should have one black wire coming off the ignition coil not three different colored wires.

After installation I see the flywheel is about 45 degrees out. Amazingly, even so, it started but ran very poorly. I pulled off the flywheel and compared it to another Honda GX 390 11 HP 13 HP with a factory starter and I can see the 45 degree difference in the flywheel. Honda wants $150 just for the right flywheel. This is China junk to me and a total waste of money. It is advertised as compatible with Honda GX 390 11 HP 13 HP engine. But it is not with my 2020 engine

Mauvais timing. J’ai du faire machiner la flywheel.

Everything was good fits perfect. Down side was no instructions. But alittle common sense and it’s a plug and play unit.Edit: god bless Google search.

It says everything is there. Well now it says I need a diode? Does not come with one an no part number to order one. Why is this? Kit is not complete!

Piece of garbage no instructions at allNot even name of manufacturerI have to figure everything on my ownHave a bad day

The flywheel they include doesnt match the timing of the factory magnet on a new GX390.DO NOT USE PROVIDED HARDWAREBolts are far to short and made of the cheapest chinesium you can imagine. The provided coil is a measly 3 amp with a diode and barely produces 2 amps of charging power at 3600rpm. If i had to do it again i would just sell this engine and buy an OEM electric start unit. Will do an update when ever the coil, diode, starter or switch burn out. Id be suprised if they last long.

Worked well for me. I have an older Honda engine. I read one of the other reviews that explained how to wire it up. Runs great.

My pressure washer starts with nothing to worry. It starts Better than my truck.

I used the starter, flywheel, and ignition for an old style flywheel gx390 (different timing than new 2011& up style). I added a dual coils for a predator 420cc and used a full wave gy6 moped rectifier/regulator. Works well but only test run. You will need a 6mm-1 tap for bolt holes that aren’t tapped in the block, longer 6-1 bolts 35mm long for coils, a 2.5″ hole saw, and a die grinder to make a hole for the starter.I would buy the kit again.

I love the power of my Predator 4400 psi pressure washer from Harbor Freight but its not always easy to start. I saw that others had retrofitted an electric starter to the same Predator 420 13HP engine but not much info about doing it on the pressure washer application.I took a chance that it would work and ordered the kit. I followed a combination of YouTube videos to research the installation of this kit as there are no instructions included. I took my time and the results were perfect! I do have to find a battery mounting solution still.I was close to buying a very expensive electric pressure washer just to make car washing easier but this kit saved me the money and I will get better results!
