Andrew J. Cooper –
Installation was pretty smooth, fit was fine. 1 day shipping is fantastic. I am a bit concerned that one of the plastic retaining clips that hold the cable to the door frame snapped in half during installation. The 15 year old plastic clips on the original cable were a pain in the you know what to remove. When finishing installation, I forgot to route the wiring for arm switches back to the hole, so I popped the door cover back off to do so. The slight swisting on the cable while doing this broke off one of the clips. The release and cable still function fine, but this is slightly concerning. 4 stars for now and I’ll update if we have any additional issues.

Installation is easy once you know how to do it. It took me about 2.5 hrs to install including removing the old cable. Installed on an 06 accord LX coupe. For this vehicle, the hardest parts were removing a clip that the old cable is attached to, disconnecting the cable from a slotted holder, removing the end of the cable closest to the door lock (this goes for reinstalling that end for the new cable as well). You will have to be patient and expect to be quite nimble with your hands to correctly install the cable. There is a plastic peep hole on the coupe model that you can remove so that you can see where to connect the cable end closest to the door lock. I found removing that helped a lot. It will also help to use a phone so that you can see how it is attached. One trick that helped me remove the old cable on the door lock end was using a Phillips head screwdriver to pry the cable end out of the clip holder. Oh and if you’re unable to take off the electrical connector for your windows, you can simply remove 5 screws that holds the bracket to the switches. You will need to remove it in order to slide the switch assembly off so that you can take the door trim off.

Sfter ordering from another source which sent me the wrong size, I was satisfied to install this on my 2005 Accord Coupe and find it was the perfect fit. The plsstic seemed sturdy enough. The installation was easy. The price was great, too.

I have literally bought every passenger door cable for a 7th gen Accord that is on Amazon. It was trial and error trying to get the right one for months. All of them are too short. Around 22 inches. If you’re struggling to find the right one, this is it. It HAS to be 30″ long. Most of the others measure anywhere from 22-24″. Hopefully this will save someone some time and keep you from getting a headache

Almost Perfect fit, just have to twist the end a bit that goes to the door handle.

This is an exact fit for OEM part (might even be). This fits the 2 door coupe 2005 Honda Accord Ex. It is the 30” cable where most other Accords use 22” cable. Check or measure to make sure you get the one you need.Fits perfect, clips work and has original padding and 2 clips to attach cable to door.

Good quality if it were only the correct part for the application took door apart to replace with new unit to find out it’s not a match at all

Overall quality, awesome. Idk how else to praise a door handle cable but yeah lol
