If you’ve removed car panels before, the installation video on YouTube is excellent and work is straightforward. If you are not handy, you might be better off paying a car stereo place to do install. I have a 24 Chevy truck and I had to disassemble most of the dash to install. Seems to work fine and I was able to disassemble and reassemble dash without breaking any clips.

Perfect way to disable and forget it auto stop/start. I guess you could turn it back on, but why? Had to remove dash pieces, but instructions were great.

The start/stop eliminator works great! Shuts off that terrible feature. Installation is not for the faint of heart; it requires dismantling a significant part of the dash. However, the instructions are good, and several videos on the installation process are on YouTube.I recommend this product if you are as annoyed by the engine shutting down all the time as I was.

Works as advertised. Very quick and easy to install.

The came as described. Easy plug and play installation. Has been installed in the truck (2024 Silverado RST) for about month now and no issues. Definitely recommend to get rid of the annoying auto start/stop feature.

I followed a you tube video and took my entire dash apart installed the device and reassembled my dash. Once I cranked up my truck (2024 GMC Sierra) I noticed the auto stop was on, so I pushed the button to turn it off and it would not turn off. My lane assist was also off and now does not turn back on. That was a lot of work to have the product not work properly. Now I have to do it all over again so I can send the product back.

Not the easiest install in the world, but it does what it needs to do. Other similar products bypass or permanently disable the start/stop by hacking other components, with this one I can still turn it on and off, if I wanted to. It’s nice when all the buttons are working.

I love that it works as it should. Now every time I start the vehicle the Auto Start/Stop setting is where I had it when I turned off the vehicle. I can’t completely convey how much I hated my vehicle always having Auto Start/Stop “ON” whenever I started out. It was annoying and dangerous. Such as when turning left across highway traffic with tight window. I’d punch it and the vehicle would stutter, shimmy, lurch, and shake it’s way across the oncoming traffic. I have never turn it on other than to test that the setting persists.

I really like the product but why is the Silverado eliminator five times the price of any other vehicle?
